About Me

My full name is Angel Manuel Ceballos. Welcome to my portfolio website, and my new blog, which was launched in March of 2011. I consider the blog to be my own personal visual archive of neat things I find, buy and/or have recently created.

While on the subject of me, I am a developer, illustrator, graphic, and UI (User Interface) designer based in New York City.

I grew up in the heart of New York City, influenced by the world around me and the art that followed it. I was always curious as a young boy about how things work, how people interacted with them and how they were designed which ultimately led me to take a career path as a designer. There was not a better city to grow up in than New York, with it’s large diversity of cultures, people from different countries, languages, traditions and in the city that never sleeps.  

In the present day, I’m an interaction designer for both the web and mobile platforms. I also create graphic work, develop web applications using Ruby and an entrepreneur working on my startup. I’m currently a student at Parsons The New School for Design in New York’s Greenwich Village.

Most of the time you can find me on my Mac all day designing, blogging, tweeting, listening to music and drinking caffeinated beverages.
